Intention setting is the vision we have for our life and the creative magic that fulfills our needs. Psychologically, the relationship between daily intentions and inversion poses in Yoga is a complementary practice; both require approaching something that is desirable, with constitutional questions of what the purpose is and why we want to do it.
Living intentionally and practicing inversions requires consistent and mindful dedication, with an attitude of openness, as an expansion of skills takes place; fostering focus, patience, resourcefulness, the trust of self and inner listening. The actual intention or desired inversion, in essence, becomes secondary once we are on the path, as the practices themselves will be enriching and valuable to our personal development.
In this 4-week session, we will journey through an intention setting method that helps to break our personal barriers and fears that we will also apply to grow our headstand and handstand postures. All sessions will include meditation, intermediate level asana practice, and, self-inquiry work.
